1998 Mercedes Supercar Set To Fetch £1m At Auction

We love supercars and spotted a 1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR supercar up for auction at the end of this month in California and is expected to sell for a cool £1 million. The 1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR has always been described as one of the brashest cars Mercedes have ever built. This particular model for sale has only done 1,335 miles and was the first of 25 road cars built by Mercedes. To see what all the fuss is about, check out these pictures and videos.

Listen to the sound of this engine...

Top Gear reviewed the car back then....

Powered by a huge 7.3-litre V12 engine which produces 720bhp, this cool car can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 197mph.
